Newly joining the KDDI au handset lineup, the W53SA and W52SA (both manufactured by Sanyo Electric) are attractive mobile phones on the market in terms of both design features and functionality.
Jointly developed by Acrodea and Megachips Corporation ("Megachips", headquartered in Yodogawa-ku, Osaka), VIVID Message is middleware, a solution for text communication functionality. The solution enhances the range of expression for email applications on mobile telephones by adding dynamic, three-dimensional rendering and animated effects to conventional, plain message texts. The unique 3D picture fonts and animation on the Sanyo Electric models W53SA and W52SA are implemented as Ugomoji Mail™ for more entertaining email correspondence. VIVID Message is a communication tool for any language; thus, mobile phones overseas have adopted the technology also.
Jointly developed by Acrodea and Morpho, Inc. (CEO and President: Masaki Hilaga), headquartered in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, VIVID Panorama consists of middleware for camera functionality. VIVID Panorama permits the user to create panorama photos (images extended in one direction for a wider or taller viewing angle than ordinary photos) easily by operating the mobile handset with a built-in digital camera like a camcorder and panning the desired range. The Sanyo Electric models W53SA and W52SA are implemented with Susutto Scan™ for clipping photography that enables capturing of just the parts desired by a tracing-like action, and Pappatto Panorama™ for panorama photography aided with guide bars and text-based message alerts. In addition to the domestic market, mobile phones overseas have adopted VIVID Panorama also.
